"What shall we do now, Blue Kangaroo?" asks Lily - but Blue Kangaroo doesn't know, so he says nothing.

She wants someone to make her a picnic, or read her a story, or draw a dinosaur - but everyone is much too busy washing the car, baking, or minding the baby, so Lily does some drawing, all by herself, and then continues to occupy herself.

Blue Kangaroo is most impressed. And when it starts to rain, she has only him to help her gather all the other soft toys in - and he has to leap to the rescue when even Lily is too busy to notice that she missed one!
