ALCS Educational Writers Award

Established in 2008 by the Authors Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS), the ALCS Educational Writers Award was created “to celebrate educational writing that inspires creativity, encourages students to read widely and builds up their understanding of a subject beyond the requirements of exam specifications.”.

Awarded to an outstanding example of traditionally published non-fiction that stimulates and enhances learning, the prize money of £2,000, shared between author and illustrator.
