Explore with Biff, Chip and Kipper

This unique series of 60 decodable reading books, linked to the wider curriculum, will take children on a journey of discovery as they read across both fiction and non-fiction. They are also aligned to Letters and Sounds Phases with a limited number of non-decodable topic words to develop vocabulary and comprehension. 30 Biff, Chip and Kipper stories are paired with 30 engaging non-fiction books. Each pair is curriculum-linked by a Science, Geography, History or Art topic, with rich and varied text.

Biff, Chip and Kipper were designed to provide a unique bridge from phonics into richer reading and all three strands can be found here. Oxford Reading Tree strives to inspire a love of reading in every child through a trusted collection of engaging fiction and non-fiction for young readers, all underpinned by Oxford Reading Levels.
