The Mind of Mr Soames

Sci-fi drama based on the novel by Charles Eric Maine in which an adult man awakens having been comatose since infancy.

When John Soames (Terence Stamp) receives a breakthrough brain operation he is able to recover and is brought out of his coma, however, as he has been in an unconscious state for almost his entire life he has remained mentally undeveloped.

Doctors attempt to educate John to enable him to be integrated into society, but are in for a shock when they discover that he has the capacity to carry out violent acts.
