Alien: Romulus

Fede Alvarez co-writes and directs this standalone sci-fi horror thriller set between the events of 'Alien' (1979) and 'Aliens' (1986).

Rain Carradine (Cailee Spaeny) endures a difficult existence at the Jackson's Star mining colony.

When Weyland-Yutani forcibly extend her contract, ending any hope she has of leaving, her ex-boyfriend Tyler (Archie Renaux) persuades her to join his expedition to scavenge supplies from a derelict space station orbiting the planet which they can use to escape the colony.

Tyler needs the help of Rain's adoptive brother Andy (David Jonsson), a reprogrammed synthetic human, to access the space station's systems, and Rain reluctantly agrees.

However, once they enter the space station, they encounter a terrifying life form and must fight for their lives.

The cast also includes Aileen Wu, Spike Fearn and Isabela Merced.
