American Assassin

Dylan O'Brien, Michael Keaton and Taylor Kitsch star in this US thriller directed by Michael Cuesta.

The film follows Mitch Rapp (O'Brien), a grief-stricken student who joins an elite undercover branch of the CIA after his girlfriend is killed in a terrorist attack.

Following the completion of his intense training, Mitch is assigned by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to work with experienced operative Stan Hurley (Keaton) on a mission to find out who is behind a series of seemingly random attacks on a number of military and civilian targets.

However, after discovering the strikes may be linked, the pair join up with Turkish agent Annika (Shiva Negar) as they attempt to chase down the deadly extremists behind the violence.

The cast also includes Scott Adkins, David Suchet and Navid Negahban.
