Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Part 1

First part of the animated adaptation of Frank Miller's comic book following the adventures of the caped crusader.

Bruce Wayne (voice of Peter Weller) has now retired from his heroic duties after the death of Jason Todd aka Robin but a ruthless gang, the Mutants, are terrorising Gotham City, leaving him with no choice but to become Batman once more.

Prominent figures within the community disapprove of Batman's methods, however, and the Mutants prove tough to defeat but the hero finds an ally in 13-year-old Carrie Kelley (Ariel Winter) who is eager to become his new sidekick.
