The ultimate gift for fans of Walt Disney’s Peter Pan.

This beautiful picture book is illustrated by celebrated Disney artist Mary Blair, who drew the original concept art for the beloved film. Extract from Peter Pan:"Just think of something wonderful," Peter said.

So Wendy thought of a mermaid lagoon, John thought of a pirate cave and little Michael thought about being a brave Indian warrior. And off they flew. Rediscover one of your favourite Disney films as the traditional tale is retold alongside Mary’s stunning artwork.

Favourite scenes, like those between Peter Pan and Captain Hook, come vividly to life with Mary’s drawings that influenced the look and feel of the finished animation.

You'll love these exquisite, rarely seen images that helped the film became one of Disney’s most visually unforgettable classics. This is a stunning collector’s item that will delight Disney fans young and old.

It's perfect for sharing with fairy tale fans aged three years and upwards, as well as appealing to fans of Mary Blair herself and her gorgeous concept artwork. Have you collected all of the Walt Disney Classics: Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan?

As a young artist, Mary Blair won a scholarship to the Chouinard Art Institute.

Having joined Disney, the artistic influence of her concept art was strongly felt in Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan.

After leaving Disney, Mary worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, creating advertising campaigns and illustrating several Little Golden Books, some of which are still in print today. David McAliser 'Dave' Barry is a Pulitzer Prize winning American author and columnist and Ridley Pearson is an author of adventure books for children.

Together, they have co-authored Peter and the Starcatchers (2004), a prequel to Peter Pan, followed by three additional prequels as well as three Never Land books: Escape from the Carnivale (2006), Cave of the Dark Wind (2007) and Blood Tide (2008).
