The Bromley Boys

British coming-of-age comedy centred on a young boy named David (Brenock O'Connor) and his passion for football.

Following England's World Cup win in 1966, David sets out to cram his otherwise mundane life with as much football as possible.

When his mother suggests that he goes down to see the local club play he is initially reluctant, aware that their reputation is that of a farcical, inept team.

But with nothing else to do, David starts showing up as a supporter to Bromley FC, and relishes in their rare moments of glory.
