Here-and-Now Music Therapy Video

With a commentary by Julienne Cartwright, this video explores the work done with patients with dementia at Herdmanflat Hospital Haddington.

The music therapy approach adopted focuses on finding musical means of reaching, engaging and developing the 'music person' within.

The fourteen excerpts that make up the video show: improvised work on a high-dependency ward; work with patients with various degrees of dementia and the problems and successes encountered by the therapist in the therapeutic relationship.
