The bear's sea escape

This picture book sequel to the New York Times book 'The Bear's Song' finds Papa Bear and Little Bear's midwinter sleep atop a Paris opera house interrupted by a massive snowstorm.

When the bears take cover in a warm shopping centre, Little Bear is mistaken for a toy bear and whisked away to a family's tropical holiday.

Yet again, Papa Bear awakens to find his Little Bear gone, so he sets out to bring him home, a journey that takes him to a bustling dock, onto an ocean liner, beneath the sea and all the way to vibrant tropical island.

Little Bear is in every spread: will Papa Bear - and the reader - find him?
