The "Daily Telegraph" Schools Guide

This guide aims to provide all the information a parent needs to choose the right school for their child. 650 of the best schools, both state and fee-paying, preparatory and senior, day and boarding, in England, Scotland and Wales were selected from a field of over 7,000.

Each school was then inspected individually. The guide includes not just the most famous and academically successful schools but also many less well known schools that excel at educating children of a wide range of abilities.

It provides information about exam results, destination of sixth formers, quality of teaching, breadth of curriculum, pupil numbers, character of head, sport, outdoor and special activities, art and music and fees and scholarship.
