A storm is brewing over a tropical ocean and a strange yellow object is caught in the whirlwind.

It's a balloon. It's a plane. It's the magic school bus! And so, instead of visiting the weather station, Miss Frizzle's class experiences a hurricane first hand, from land, sea and air.
