Methods and Applications

This is a collection of the papers presented at the conference Modelling in Computer Graphics, held in Genova, Italy in 1993.

The contributions cover a variety of topics at an advanced level, organized into parts dealing with mathematical modelling, procedural modelling, the integration of models, creative use, animation, rendering and vision.

The material presented in this book should be of interest not only to researchers actually involved in the design of modelling systems, but also to system developers and practitioners who need qualitative knowledge on recent advances and new concepts in this field.
