"Introduction to Agricultural Engineering" was first published in the late 60's by AVI.

The topics and treatment are selected for a three-fold purpose - first, to acquaint student with a wide range of applications of engineering to agriculture; second to present an array of more or less independent topics to facilitate daily assessments or quizzes; and third, to develop and enhance the problem-solving ability of the student." The third edition's continued purpose is to expose the reader to a wide array of engineering principles and their application to agricultural, and enhances the students' problem solving ability.

Each chapter contains objectives, worked examples and sample problems are included at the end of each chapter.
