Rentarô Mikuni, Sachiko Hidari, Junzaburô Ban, Ken Takakura, Kôji Mitsui

Crime drama directed by Tomu Uchida. Three men escape after committing a robbery but one then kills the other two.

Yae (Sachiko Hidari), a prostitute, shelters Inukai (Rentarô Mikuni), the surviving robber, and in return he gives her enough money to start a new life.

Meanwhile Detective Yumisaka (Junzaburô Ban) has been tracking Inukai with little success.

Eventually he is forced to resign from the police due to his obsession with the case, but a decade later he and Detective Ajimura (Ken Takakura) are back on Inukai's trail.
