Swedish documentary director Göran Olsson compiles this feature-length collection of archive footage chronicling the US Black Power movement, originally shot by a group of Swedish television journalists during the 1960s and 70s.

Despite its geographical and cultural distance, the Swedish media observed the unfolding events of the Black Power movement in the United States with avid interest, which is arguably more than can be said for the mainstream media in the United States itself.
