"Special Needs Literacy" is a series of photocopiable teachers' books that aims to meet the need for differentiated teaching resources for use during group time of Literacy Hour.

It contains: "crib sheets" specially written with non-specialist helpers in mind; 30 20-minute group activities for word, sentence, or text level tasks; reading extracts that cover a range of genre and interest level appropriate for a particular year group; activities pitched at a lower reading level; and suggestions for daily homework tasks.
