House of Lords annual report 2004/05

This annual report reviews the work of the House of Lords during the financial year 1 April 2004 to 31 March 2005.

It follows the form, introduced last year, of providing a report of what was achieved in implementing the House's annual Business Plan.

The first part sets the context by reviewing the year, whilst the second part is structured by reference to the primary tasks of the Business Plan.

The third part of the report is the "Annual Report" of the Audit Committee. "The Accounts of the House" are no longer published with the "Annual Report", instead a single set of "Resource Accounts" will be published later in the year.
