Pictures of Hollis Woods

Hollis Woods has run away from so many foster homes, she can hardly remember them all.

Except for one special place last summer...Then Hollis meets Josie, an elderly artist, and decides to stay with her.

So when Social Services want to move Hollis on, she runs away again.

Only this time, she takes Josie with her. But even as Hollis plans her future with Josie, she cannot forget the past summer, and just how badly it went wrong.

As the book progresses, with the help of Hollis's pictures, we gradually learn what happened - and how it will affect Hollis's future, though not in the way she expects.
