This title presents a complete history of the first Indo-Pak War.

The chapters do not follow a chronological sequence; instead, each chapter is more-or-less a complete story.

The work provides comprehensive coverage of the role of the state forces of Jammu and Kashmir, who fought many lonely battles; the parts played by the civil population, the National Conference and the nascent Air Force of India; and the enemy's plans and deployments.
