Maria's Wonderland

This story features a kindergartner who has been diagnosed as a nonverbal communicator. She is featured in a kindergarten classroom with other students of varying abilities. She is a bright and witty child who is interested in her environment. She enjoys coming to school, and she's eager to learn, yet she hasn't quite found her voice.
