This book looks at ceramic pots, statues, tiles and fountains that are used in gardens and landscape design and discusses the problems inherent in making ceramics for the outdoors such as weatherproofing, installation and vandalism.

It uses the practices, techniques and work of an international group of artists to illustrate how these problems can be overcome while still producing attractive pieces of work.
