Building Your Own Compiler with C++

This text satisfies the dual demand for both an introduction to compilers and a hands-on compiler construction project manual.

It uses C++ as the implementation language, and compiles a tiny subset of Pascal which results in source language constructs that are already part of most readers' experience.

Figures detail the behaviour of the compiler, and complete source code is provided for the example compiler, listed as an appendix.
