House of Mortal Sin

When Jenny Welch (Susan Penhaligon) tries to track down her old friend Bernard (Norman Eshley), who has become a priest, she is persuaded to confess her sins to Father Xavier Meldrum (Anthony Sharp) in his absence.

But this has dire consequences for the pair as the cleric becomes increasingly obsessed with Jenny and, after hearing her sins, sets out on a spate of brutal murders.
