Jim Carrey stars as the eponymous green grouch in this festive family comedy directed by Ron Howard.

The Grinch lives high up on a mountain overlooking the town of Whoville and he hates happiness, merriment and, most of all, Christmas.

One year as the festive season approaches, he plots to steal all of the decorations and presents from the citizens of Whoville.

However, Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen) refuses to give up on him.

She is determined to end the Grinch's isolation and remind everyone in Whoville of the true meaning of Christmas.

Will she succeed? The cast also includes Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski and Molly Shannon.
