Michael Caine and David Warner star in this action thriller directed by Michael Ritchie.

Blair Maynard (Caine) is a journalist investigating the strange disappearance of a number of boats in the Caribbean.

He takes his estranged son Justin (Jeffrey Frank) with him and they discover a shocking secret: an uncharted island inhabited by a crew of pirates from the 17th century led by Nau (Warner).

When the pair are captured, Nau soon succeeds in his efforts to turn Justin against his father.

Meanwhile, Blair attempts to escape from the island but Nau proves to be a formidable foe...

The cast also includes Angela Punch-McGregor, Frank Middlemass and Dudley Sutton.
