Film-makers Josh Kriegman, Weiner's former political aide, and Elyse Steinberg follow his run as he tries to win back support with promises of his reformed character.

But just as he begins to gather momentum, news of another similarly sordid scandal breaks leaving Weiner and his wife Huma Abedin, an aide to Hillary Clinton, to play damage control once again as he resolves to stay in the race and fight for his election, placing his marriage and working relationships under increasing strain.
