The Long Duel

Yul Brynner and Trevor Howard star in this action drama set in the 1920s in an India under British rule.

After being imprisoned by the United Provinces Police, tribe leader Sultan (Brynner) manages to break out with some of his men in tow and leads them in a revolt in an effort to free themselves from the British regime.

When he hears that the remaining prisoners are to be transferred to Delhi, he plans to help them escape but police officer Freddy Young (Howard) has been ordered to capture Sultan, dead or alive.
