The Lost Patrol

John Ford's military drama set in World War One following a group of British soldiers fighting for survival in the Mesopotamian desert.

When the commanding officer is killed by an Arab, it is up to the Sergeant (Victor McLaglen) to get the men to their destination.

The trouble is, the CO was the only one who knew its exact location.

Matters worsen when their camp is taken over by a gang of Arabs.

With the heat of the desert and the lack of supplies, the troops soon become deranged and Sanders (Boris Karloff), in particular, begins to seriously question his state of mind.

Little do they know, a rescue team is not far away.
