Paul (de Givry) is a troubled young man in need of a path and purpose in life.

When he travels to Paris and discovers the world of underground music, he realises that he has found his true calling in life and sets about learning how to be a DJ.

As he gets sucked into the seedy world that comes with life as a DJ, Paul quickly finds himself hooked on drugs, sex and hard-hitting bass.

However, as Paul ages his music ages too and he struggles to keep up with the changing pace of the beats he once knew.
