Midsomer Murders: Blue Herrings

Another case for D.I. Tom Barnaby (John Nettles), ably assisted by Sergeant Gavin Troy (Daniel Casey).

Barnaby becomes suspicious regarding a death at the Lawnside Rest Home when his Aunt Alice (Phyllis Calvert) - who is recuperating there temporarily - reports hearing footsteps in the night and seeing a stranger lingering at the gate.

Although initial investigations reveal little of importance, Alice's fears begin to look well founded when two more residents die in short order...
