Alex Levy (Aniston) is the anchor of the successful and popular 'The Morning Show'.

When her co-host of 15 years, Mitch Kessler (Carell), is fired due to allegations of sexual harassment, she fights to keep her job and struggles with her new co-host, Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon).

As the network tries to hide its prior knowledge of Kessler's misconduct and he tries to tell people his version of events, there are tragic consequences for one of his victims.
