Marc Evans directs this biopic based on the life of Welsh actor Richard Burton.

In the small town of Port Talbot, wayward schoolboy Richard Jenkins (Harry Lawtey) struggles to focus, earning a reputation as a disruptive child.

His teacher, Philip Burton (Toby Jones), however, recognises his potential and takes him under his wing to guide him into the world beyond school.

The cast also includes Lesley Manville, Aimee-Ffion Edwards and Steffan Rhodri.
