National Security

LAPD reject and major troublemaker, Earl (Martin Lawrence) manages to get fellow cop Hank (Steve Zahn) kicked off the force for brutality.

Now these two guys, who can't stand each other, are stuck working together as lowly security guards.

But even as security guards they can still do their bit when they stumble across a major crime involving a smuggling ring run by Nash (Eric Roberts).

However, when they try to inform their previous employers, they are at first ignored and then find themselves the targets of not only Nash's henchmen but also two LAPD officers.
