This work is based on the internationally acclaimed print, "Oxford Children's Encyclopedia".

It contains 2100 articles, including 600 biographies, over 100 animations, 200 sound clips, 27 videos, 3000 colour photos and artworks, and over 200 maps.

It features the full text of the "Oxford Primary School Dictionary" (25,000 headwords).

It includes new articles on Tony Blair, George W. Bush, Vladimir Putin, Philip Pullman, J.K. Rowling, and others.
