The feelings book

Todd Parr's books blaze with primary colours, positive messages and the kind of humour that elicits giggles from kids and knowing smiles from adults.

Messages range from the straightforward feelings (lonely, scared, brave) to the slightly less conventional, though equally valid (Sometimes I feel like standing on my head.") Underwear tips are ideal for anyone just out of nappies and not sure of the etiquette(!) The artwork is bold and simple - the characters are stick figures and the text is presented in childlike handwriting.

This is Purple Ronnie for primary-schoolers, but with definite crossover appeal into older, even adult, markets.
