In Search of Beethoven/In Search of Mozart

Phil Grabsky directs these two feature-length biographical documentaries about the lives and work of composers Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The films, which document the composers' music chronologically and interweave it with their letters and life stories, feature live performances by artists including Sir Roger Norrington, Vadim Repin, Emanuel Ax, Lars Vogt and Alban Gerhardt.
