When private investigator Marty Hopkirk (Cope) is killed in a hit and run accident he immediately returns as a ghost.

However, the only person who can see him is his colleague Jeff Randall (Pratt).

Together the pair look to bring Hopkirk's killer to justice aided by Hopkirk's widow Jeannie (Andre).
