Assignment Earth

Raphael (Raffie to her friends) is a young angel just beginning to earn her wings.

But she is enthusiastic and ambitious and very keen to get involved with things on Earth.

Given an unexpected opportunity, she manages to wreak havoc with the weather.

Even more unexpectedly given a second chance, she discovers something very unpleasant on a Welsh mountainside. And soon, her life of cheerful interference and well-meaning duty is turned upside down as she is swept up in a cosmic struggle which the power of evil looks to be winning.

In a story that is alternately humorous and gripping, Raffie's life spins out of control while those who could prevent it seem willing to allow it to happen.
