Out of the Furnace

Christian Bale, Casey Affleck and Woody Harrelson star in this crime thriller from director Scott Cooper.

Russell Baze (Bale) works in a dead-end job trying to make ends meet so he can support his girlfriend Lena (Zoe Saldana) and his ailing father.

After returning from serving in Iraq, Russell's younger brother Rodney (Affleck) gets involved with the ruthless Harlan DeGroat (Harrelson) and his crime syndicate.

When he fails to come home and the police are unable to find him, Russell puts his own life in danger to save his brother.

The film also stars Forest Whitaker, Willem Dafoe and Sam Shepard with Leonardo DiCaprio, Ridley Scott and the late Tony Scott among its producers.
