Sinister/Sinister 2

Double bill of supernatural horrors. In 'Sinister' (2012) Ellison (Ethan Hawke) is a true crime author, in search of a new story, who moves with his unsuspecting wife, Tracy (Juliet Rylance), and two young children into a house in which a horrifying quadruple murder recently took place.

However, when Ellison opens a box of Super-8 film reels he finds in the attic, even the inquisitive author gets more than he had bargained for.

In the sequel 'Sinister 2' (2015) Courtney Collins (Shannyn Sossamon) moves with her nine-year-old twin sons (Robert Daniel and Dartanian Sloan) to a remote house full of unknown evils after fleeing from her abusive husband.

As the family are terrorised by the soul-seeking Pagan spirit Bughuul, Deputy So and So (James Ransone) continues his investigation into the area's historical killings and tries to warn the family of his findings before it's too late...
