Westalian spy Twilight (voice of Takuya Eguchi) needs to create a family for a mission designed to maintain the peace between the two nations.

Calling himself Loid Forger, he marries Yor (Saori Hayami), unaware that she is an assassin from Ostania also in need of a marriage of convenience to maintain her own cover, and adopts Anya (Atsumi Tanezaki), a telepathic orphan.

Due to her secret powers, Anya is the only one of the three who knows the whole truth about her new family.

Will Loid succeed in maintaining the fragile peace between Westalis and Ostania, with a little help from his family?
