British Columbia 100 Years Ago : Portraits of a Province

This book features an impressive collection of black-and-white lithograph images that were sold to the public in the early twentieth century.

Documenting life in British Columbia during this period of time, each image has a story to tell, and collectively they define the state of affairs in BC a century ago.

The book, which has an introductory article and map of the geographic regions covered, displays images representing 80 distinct stories that capture a youthful British Columbia as it once was.
