International education : principles and practice

This international-contributed work examines the fundamental thinking about the nature and purpose of international education in the context of global issues.

Detailing improvements in practice worldwide, it explores the relationship between current thinking and practice in international education, and how each is evolving.

With contributions from, among others, the Director of the United Nations International School in New York, the Principal of an international school in Japan, it looks at issues such as inclusive and encapsulated school cultures and an international curriculum as a stimulus for national educational reform.
