Ronny loves nothing more than to watch his dad create extraordinary birthday cakes - fire-red racing cars, chocolate trains with candied angelica tracks and dancing mice so real it's hard to believe they are edible!

One evening, Ronny's dad has gone out and Ronny is left with rambunctious teenage childminder, Kieran.

After an energetic game of bun-pong (ping-pong with a stale bun), disaster strikes!

Hidden underneath a flour sack is a mislaid cake order ...for the very next morning!

When he can't reach his dad, Ronny takes it upon himself to bake the ultimate MONSTER CAKE for four-year-old Alfie Mealman's birthday, making it look like Kieran's old teacher Mr. Bunt - smelly, grimy, gloopy and greasy with giant ping-pong eyes.
