The Valley of the Bees

Czechoslovakian historical drama directed by Frantisek Vlácil.

Cast out by his father, Ondrej (Petr Cepek) is forced to join the Order of the Teutonic Knights where he is mentored by the fanatical Armin (Jan Kacer).

After years of hardship, Ondrej fights Armin and manages to escape from the Order.

Upon returning to his former home, he discovers that his father is dead and soon falls in love with his stepmother Lenora (Vera Galatíková).

However, as he seeks to marry her, Armin arrives and violence follows.
