White Irish Drinkers

Drama set in 1970s Brooklyn following working-class teenager Brian Leary (Nick Thurston) who dreams of making a better life for himself.

His friends are either going into nine-to-five office jobs or are going off to college while his older brother, Danny (Geoffrey Wigdor), is a petty criminal.

A talented artist, Brian hopes for quite a different future.

Meanwhile, in order to make enough money to pay back his debts to gangster Jimmy Cheeks (Ken Jennings), Brian's boss at local cinema the Lafayette, Whitney (Peter Riegert), asks an old friend for a favour to get the Rolling Stones to play at the theatre.

After Danny is beat up by his father, he realises he can no longer stay at home and approaches his little brother for his assistance in robbing the Lafayette during the night of the concert, leaving Brian to make a life-changing decision.
