Capturing long-distance travel

Long distance travel, both for leisure and professional purposes, is the fastest growing travel market.

In the past, the available data were insufficient to track these developments at the level of detail required for a proper understanding of the underlying processes.

This book reports the results of two EU-funded research projects aimed at developing a survey methodology suitable for closing these gaps.

New technologies for data capture and analysis are also tested.
