The reconstruction of this part of Mexican history is critical to better understand, inter alia, the lingering impact of the colonial period on the Mexican national memory and psyche.

The exposure of the Spanish and their lackeys' actions against African and Mexican African offspring populations will help uncover as contradictory the black phobia that permeates the national memory and psyche of a population largely of African descent.

In addition to our First Nations, Asian and Spanish roots, recognizing our Africanness will assist us to develop stronger global relations with the people of Africa and the African Diaspora in other places of the Americas and the planet.

The present historical reconstruction helps destroy the official myth that Blacks during the Colonial Period (1519-1821) were few and disappeared by integration.
